Palma Inc. was founded in 1927 by Fred Palma Sr. as a local tile, terrazzo and marble business. He believed then, as we do today, that a top quality product combined with professional application and service results in successful jobs and satisfied repeat customers. Our specialty today is the formulation and application of durable, economical, and attractive epoxy flooring systems.

Palma Inc.

With a company motto like “Flooring You Can Stand on Since1927,” Palma Inc. of Bloomfield prides itself on sustaining the family business for three generations.  Palma makes and installs seamless, slip-resistant flooring in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.  “The use of it is unending,” says company president Federico Palma Jr.

Palma’s father founded the company fourteen years after arriving in America from Italy.  Among the company’s twenty employees today is Federico Jr’s sons, Fred III and Michael, and son-in-law, Gregory Manton.  “There’s nothing like a family-owned business,” says Federico Palma Jr. “We’re third generation.  They don’t usually last that long.”  The company supports the Newark Public Library and the Newark Museum.
